Meet Tasha Paulsen – Your Boudoir Bestie

Hey y'all!

I’m Tasha and I’m BEYOND excited you’re here! Born in Nashville, TN - my family later moved to the beautiful Bluegrass of Kentucky. I’ve got a heart that’s as big as my love for sunset skies. Blue & camo - yep, those are my favorite colors! I’m infatuated with all things that glitter, sparkle, or as I like to call it: “Spizazzle." But don’t let that fool you—I’m still a country girl at heart, spending time on our farms with my amazing husband Nathan and our four incredible kiddos: Kaylee, Clint, Will, and Judd.

I've been a National Counsil on Strength and Fitness Certified Personal Trainer since 2009. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology degree and dual Minors in Spanish as well as Health from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 2011. I then graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with my Master of Healthcare Administration with a Specialty Emphasis in Health Informatics (MHA-HI) in 2014. Don't get me wrong - I love my Alma Mater. Butttttttt - you best believe we cheer for University of Kentucky & Alabama. Roll Tide Roll ba-byyy!

I spend a substantial amount of time at the ballpark, soccer complex, or gym for the kiddos baseball, soccer, volleyball, and basketball practices & games. My tiny bit of free time after the kids are in bed is spent with the hubby catching up on our guilty pleasure shows like Temptation Island, Love Island, Love is Blind, Too Hot to Handle, Golden Bachelor/Bachelorette, & other dating shows or our adventure action shows like The Traitors and Reacher to name a few (until we pass out and have to restart the same episode 3 times LOL!).

One of my favorite things is my extensive and ever-expanding collection of platform 6.5" high heels that I love to rock out! I have the biggest sweet tooth you'll meet in terms of chocolate. You can keep anything gummy. ​I adore and always look forward to planning my next travel adventure, especially to the mountains and beach vacation hot spots.

By day, I’m a full time Senior Epic Install Build Analyst for Vanderbilt University Medical Center. I've worked in healthcare since 2008 and have been building the electronic medical records system Epic since 2013. But after hours once I put my camera in hand, it’s all about YOU! Photography is my passion and it allows me to be 100% here for you!

What's it like when you work with me? Well, consider me your very own personal stylist, wardrobe guru, posing guru, and “I got your back” best friend. I'm your question concierge and dedicated "water girl" (actually Champagne, Wine, Coke, Gatorade, or whatever you like and more during your session). Need help with your heel straps, attaching your garter, or straightening up your jewelry? I’m on it! Got a tag needing tucked in or cut off? I'll take care of it! Nervous about where to put what feels like 10 different arms in front of a camera? I’ve got a million tricks to make you look and feel your absolute best! Just call me your florist because I'll surprise you with flowers (because I LOVE LOVE LOVE flowers and all of my clients love receiving flowers at their session compliments of EPICS Boudoir).  Can't quite reach far enough to tie your corset or hook your outfit? Girl - I got you! I'll be your "WTH do I do with my face" assistant and so much more on your special ALL ABOUT YOU day! I'm like your own personal comedian during your session. No lie - we’ll laugh until your cheeks hurt. It’s all about having fun and making you feel like the absolute goddess you are.

Everyone is nervous at first but let me show you a couple of images on the back of my camera and you will be blown away! I get a lot of "omg!" and "“Wait, that’s ME?!" and "who's that?" and "you can make me look like that?!" Yes! And you know what, it's the same you - just seen through a different set of eyes.
